À propos du livre
This is how a family of 5 spent their summer in Texas. A few people have asked for more details about this book, so here they are.
It's my 5th Blurb book total, the 4th family photo book, and the 2nd 12x12 book I've made. Last one was 4 years ago. This one is 80 pages, 473 photos, 3 fonts, and 60+ hours of passion.
The tools used were Adobe Lightroom for managing all the photos (which allowed for editing, rating, and grouping by specific dates), Adobe Bridge for placing photos in Adobe InDesign (that was a specific action in Bridge and it helped a lot), Blurb's InDesign plugin, and Google (for finding tutorials, fonts, and vector art). I wish there was a way to bridge photos directly from Lightoom to InDesign, but there wasn't.
The book is probably 90% iPhone 5 photos. Most of the photos from my Canon 40D are unprocessed and unsorted, so the original thought was to blow through the book making using nothing but iPhone photos. Almost achieved that.
