À propos du créateur
Deborah Catherine Marvel Wesley is the great-great-granddaughter of James and Climena (Julian) McCord. A passionate family historian, Debbie finds fascination in the dichotomy of her ancestry. While she has deep colonial roots and is a proud eighth-generation Hoosier, she is also the great-granddaughter of German immigrants. A loving wife, devoted mother of three, and delighted Nana, she continues to live in her childhood home in Carmel, Indiana. Bitten by the genealogy bug in 1980 while filling out a family tree in her Bible, Debbie has spent the past 45 years uncovering the stories behind the names. With a background in information technology, she uses digital tools to bring family history to life—creating videos, keepsakes, and now children's books under her HoosierRoots brand. Debbie believes the role of the family historian is not only to preserve the past but to share it—for stories found but not shared may be lost forever.
