The Graphic Diminutions are a series of graphic pieces constructed from conventional music notation which has been highly condensed using notation software, which are intended to serve both as visual art and as improvisational graphic scores. These works comment on the various ways in which we can experience the passage of time, through the use of visual canons and other forms. In addition, by removing the ability to interpret the conventional musical meaning, they draw attention to the visual aspects of the notation in a manner inspired by the art of asemic writing.
