Anthony (Tony) Davies has had a career in Industry spanning almost 50 Years. Commencing in the UK Chemical Industry in the maintenance of Chemical plants he moved into the Offshore Energy Industry in the mid-1970’s, initially in the areas of Construction, pre-Commissioning and hook-up, gradually progressing into the Commissioning and start-up of new plant. After studying and gaining a BA degree in Technology, he further progressed into Commissioning Engineering and Management, where he spent the next 30 years working mainly on new, major Projects on both land and offshore facilities around the world. In 2005 he joined a Commissioning Company providing specialist commissioning software tools, personnel and services where he became Technical Director, then Operations Director until the Company was sold to an International E&C Contracting Company in 2012. He has since provided ongoing services as a Commissioning Consultant on an ad-hoc freelance basis.
