My first name is Jamillah, my daughters call me Mommy bear. I am eager and excited to put the time in using a quill. I love to read, write poems and short stories. My first book was my contribution to new Muslims who need the help getting into their new life properly. My second book was a collection of poems that I had written over the years and wanted to share them with you. My third book is a sequel to the first; a continuation of the understanding of Islam. There will be a fourth; not sure what the genre is yet. I love the inspiration of children, maybe that's where I'll go. For the last year and a half, I've spent time on the outer skirts of Chicago. Very interesting location and strange weather which makes for great writing overlooking the beautiful Lake Michigan.
