À propos du livre
David McKee was born and raised in eastern Oklahoma, and he earned a BFA from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where he primarily studied painting, drawing, mixed media, and art history. David studied painting with Marty Avrett, a former student of Richard Diebenkorn, and he studied painting and drawing with Dean Bloodgood, a former student of Adolph Gottlieb. David lived in Los Angeles for a few years, and he then moved to upstate New York. There was a lapse in his work as a painter for a few years due to a personal tragedy, he started taking photographs, and worked in graphic design, and advertising. David and his wife and son then moved to Albuquerque. A few years ago David returned to painting, his muse, the thing that he's most passionate about was there waiting for his return. Since returning to painting, David has shown in numerous galleries in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, and the Denver area.
