À propos du livre
The year 2000 saw big changes on the Western Australian Speedway landscape with the closure of the long running Claremont Speedway in April and the opening of the multi million dollar Perth Motorplex in December.
In October of that year the Sprintcar Entrants Group (SEG) was also officially launched and the long range plan to revitalise Sprintcar racing in the west began.
Despite criticism from some quarters that plan has been a resounding success - with increased car counts and big prizemoney on offer to the drivers.
The AHG Sprintcar Series kicked off at Bunbury on October 21, 2000 - with the opening meeting at the Perth Motorplex occurring on December 15.
The publication contains all of the results of the 297 rounds held so far - at nine different venues around the state of Western Australia.
Plus stacks of colour photos - more than 40 in total - including a "Crash-a-rama" section.

Ken Brown
Coolbellup Western Australia
I first attended the Claremont Speedway during the stock car days in the 1950s. In 1966 I answered an advertisement in a speedway newspaper to report on racing here in Western Australia. I have been doing that ever since. I have a very keen interest in the early days of speedway racing - and have spent many hours delving through the old newspapers of the day to try and bring this long forgotten speedway history to the general public.
