This book is a result of an education programme, led by Art Pop-Up and Paper Rhino. The plot was developed by Mark Grist in collaboration with pupils from Nene Valley, West Town and John Clare primary schools in Peterborough and features the children’s character drawings and illustrations by Laura Barnard.
A modern twist on the traditional fairytale, concentrating on issues with the environment and deforestation, join Suki & Oscar and the other creatures of the Enchanted Forest as they discover new foes as well as new solutions...
The education programme is supported by the Woodland Trust’s national Tree Charter, the Ernest Cook Trust and Peterborough Presents.
Art Pop-Up is a non-profit arts organisation that provides unique opportunities to make and engage with new contemporary art and culture. By utilising art conceptually and thematically, as an interesting and enjoyable access point, Art Pop-Up encourages wider participation and understanding.
